Product description

Grinding Ball Screws are mechanical devices designed to convert rotary motion into linear motion. The basic elements of a Ball Screw include a nut and screw with helical grooves and ball bearings. The balls move in a continuous path between the nut, screw and groove, coordinated by the rotation of the screw or nut. They follow a trajectory within the ball return system of the nut, moving from an initial point to an end point and then returning to the starting position. Wipers are strategically located on either side of the nut to act as a shield against debris, which can shorten the life of the ballscrew assembly.
